For our conservation efforts, The Cardamom Project has partnered with Fauna & Flora International (FFI), the British conservation organization that is leading the international effort to preserve the Cardamoms. FFI works closely with the Royal Government of Cambodia. We work with FFI to raise money for and awareness of this shared cause. Specific examples of these projects might include:

In order to fulfill our mission, more than just basic conservation efforts will be needed. For the people side of our mission, The Cardamom Project works in partnership with other organizations operating in Cambodia to inform ordinary Cambodians about this part of their national heritage, and to involve them in its preservation. We also plan on developing our own programs to be administered independently. Given the urgency of the situation, our primary focus so far has been on conservation. However, we plan to develop and begin instituting our environmental education programs during 2002. Specific examples of these will include:
